  • Cochlear

    Internationally known medical devices company Cochlear engaged me on a short contract to produce a series of user guides for their wireless accessories.

    The writing process involved testing with real users to see if they could engage with the product following my instructions alone. (Spoiler: they could!)

  • Nearmap

    Geospatial giant Nearmap engaged me to curate their customer-facing user assistance content.

    During this time I wrote many how-to and explainer articles about their products and services, including articles describing concepts that some customers found challenging.

  • ScribeSafe

    Medical records management cloud application, ScribeSafe, needed how-to guides targeting users with varied technical competency.

    I created a series of step-by-step guides to ease users into the application, structuring the content so that more advanced users could easily skip content they understood.

Videos

Agritech startup InvertiGro engaged me to create user assistance content. Part of my brief was to assist with informational content aimed at tradeshows and prospective customers generally.

This short video deliberately has no voiceover, so that it can run on loop in the background of a trade booth setup.

While working for Nearmap, I created several instructional videos. The one showcased here was a tutorial series to help users get up and running with Nearmap on OpenSolar. The offering was not self-explanatory and Customer Success needed some content to help them manage customer queries.

While working in Nearmap’s Customer Success team, I transformed their simple docs site into the Knowledge Hub - a one-stop-shop for customers to learn about Nearmap’s products and services.

To launch the Knowledge Hub, I created a video explaining what the hub was and how to engage with it.
